Established by Ms. Yang Xu, MoMei Chinese Music Center is a Professional Chinese music, Chinese culture, Chinese art education institution located in Beijing City, the capital of China. Our goal is to popularize Chinese music, Chinese culture, Chinese art, especially the Guzheng music, in the world. We also hope to be one contributor to boost the music&culture exchange between the East and the West. We believe in that music is a human heritage which can be shared and enjoyed by all.

So, Chinese music education is the first part of our service programs. Currently, we focus on the instruments in which we have specialist experience. The first one is Guzheng, a famous Chinese stringed instrument with history of 2500 years. Other instruments include Guqin, Erhu, Pipa, Hulusi, Dizi and Xiao. Our mission is to introduce and promote a greater understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese music and culture, to all kinds of people, young and old, male and female. To guarantee the best teaching quality, we have spent much efforts on improving our management and infrastructure:

    · We have laid down certain processes for staff, standards for teachers, and disciplines for students.

    · Every teacher in our center was invited by Ms. Yang Xu herself. With strict eyes, Ms. Yang Xu always cares about their abilities when she selects teachers. We believe you will be satisfied with our teachers' qualification, because most of them are educators, musicians or actors from the first class Conservatories and Societies in China.

    · We decorated our classrooms carefully and specially: comfortable and full of art circumstance. We also use instruments from specialist makers in China as teaching facilities: high quality and beautiful. We want every student feel relaxed and enjoy the magical music when they come.

    · We provide real performance opportunities for students year round. Periodically, we hold internal concerts, musical forums, or public performances at events on which students has chances to show and hone their skills.

    · We not only teach students musical instrument playing skills, but also help them to develop the virtue and spirit of insistence, self-discipline, self-confidence, and harmony.

Chinese musical instrument sale is another important part of our service programs. Currently, we focus solely on the Guzheng instrument in which we have specialist experience. We cooperate directly with the professional Guzheng makers in China, and the Guzheng instrument we are selling is the No.1 trade mark in China. Sound quality is the most important aspect of musical instrument, and evaluating the sound quality of musical instrument requires professional skills. We are experts at selecting good instruments. Our Guzhengs have become the instruments of choice for either learning or concert performances.

Chinese music exchange and performances is the third part of our services. We organize professional guzheng players as a team, which can perform for all kinds of ceremonies and events such as new enterprise opening ceremony, wedding ceremony, festival celebration, community events, culture exchange, program making, etc. We believe we will be good partners.

Now with the efforts of Ms. Yang Xu and all staff of our center, MoMei Chinese Music Center has been growing rapidly. We have won reputation all around Beijing City and now more than one hundred students are enrolled. Some students has won awards in domestic level or municipal level competitions. Some students have even been invited by some companies as soloist.
